According to an Automotive News report, the pickup model based on the Corolla is currently under discussion, and if given the green light, it will find its place below the Toyota Tacoma model.

Following a similar approach to the Ford Maverick, Toyota plans to construct this pickup with a unibody body design, providing slightly higher ground clearance and optimal capabilities for a light truck, particularly suitable for urban environments.

While details are still emerging, it is anticipated that this exciting Corolla truck will make its debut as early as 2027. Toyota’s approach involves developing this new model based on the next-generation Corolla, rather than the current 12th-generation model available in the market.
