Porsche has just launched its latest edition of the Cayenne SUV, which boasts some remarkable upgrades, including state-of-the-art digitized displays and controls, an advanced chassis, and a plethora of features that redefine luxury driving.
“This marks one of the most comprehensive product upgrades in the history of Porsche,” said Michael Schätzle, Vice President of Product Line Cayenne, in a press release on Wednesday (19/4/2023).
The Cayenne now features high-definition Matrix HD LED headlamps that offer dynamic lighting adapted to all driving conditions. In addition, for the first time on a Cayenne, front passengers have their own infotainment display for streaming videos on the go.
Redesigned Cockpit
The cockpit has also undergone an impressive redesign, with a 12.6-inch fully digital instrument cluster that has a curved design, and an optimized head-up display available as an option. The main Porsche Communication Management (PCM) display, which measures 12.3 inches, gives access to all relevant vehicle functions. Moreover, the latest Cayenne has built-in applications like Spotify and Apple Music, allowing seamless connectivity on the move.

Performance Upgrades
The new Cayenne is powered by three different engine versions in Europe. The biturbo V8 engine developed by Porsche has undergone significant upgrades, replacing the previous V6 engine in the new Cayenne S. The engine can deliver a maximum output of 349 kW (474 PS) and 600 Nm of torque, which is 50 Nm more than its predecessor. The six-cylinder engine also serves as the basis for the powertrain of the Cayenne E-Hybrid, which has been fitted with a new electric motor increased by 30 kW to 130 kW (176 PS), and a combined power output of 346 kW (470 PS).
The model has also been equipped with a high-voltage battery with an increased capacity from 17.9 kWh to 25.9 kWh, and the pure electric range according to WLTP is up to 90 km, depending on the level of equipment.
Turbo GT for Top-notch Performance
In most Porsche markets outside the European Union, the Turbo GT is still the top model in the Cayenne lineup. This model is only available as a coupé and benefits from all the optimizations and innovations of the model series. The Turbo GT’s 4-liter V8 biturbo engine output has been increased by 14 kW (19 PS) to 485 kW (659 PS). It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, with a maximum speed of 305 km/h.
