The Mercedes EQXX electric concept car has made headlines once again, smashing its own records for range and efficiency during its third test journey from Riyadh to Dubai.
In its latest feat, the Mercedes Vision EQXX conquered a remarkable distance of 1010km across the vast expanse of the Arabian Peninsula, boasting an extraordinary average efficiency of 7.4 kWh/100km.
Embarking on its third long-distance expedition, following two previous endeavors in Europe, the Vision EQXX showcased its prowess by traversing over 1000 km for the second time. Covering a distance of 1010km in a span of 14 hours and 42 minutes, the electric marvel maintained an impressive average speed of 68km/h.
Upon the completion of the arduous journey, the onboard computer of the Vision EQXX displayed a remaining range of 308 km, culminating in a total range of 1,318 km. Furthermore, Mercedes revealed that the remarkable efficiency of 7.4 kWh/100km is equivalent to an astounding 282mpg (120km/l) in a conventional petrol-powered vehicle.
Venturing through the urban and rural landscapes of Riyadh and Dubai, the Vision EQXX navigated through traffic congestions and vast desert highways with unparalleled grace. Despite the scorching desert heat, the Vision EQXX maintained optimal comfort levels throughout the journey, courtesy of its advanced air conditioning system.
