Mahindra & Mahindra, the Indian automobile giant, has achieved its highest-ever sales number for March 2023. The company has recorded a whopping 31% growth, with 35,976 vehicles sold.
Mahindra’s annual sales of SUVs have hit an all-time high of 3,56,961 units, registering a remarkable growth of 60%.
Passenger Vehicle Sales Soar
Mahindra’s passenger vehicle sales have witnessed a surge of 30% in March 2023, with 35,997 units sold. The company has registered an annual sale of 3,59,253 vehicles, with a 59% growth.
Commercial Vehicle Segment Shines
Mahindra’s commercial vehicle segment has also experienced a green light with a growth of 12%. The company sold 22,282 vehicles in March 2023, accounting for an annual sale of 2,48,576 vehicles with a 40% growth. The Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) segment has recorded its highest-ever annual sales of 1,98,121 units in FY23.

The truck and bus division of Mahindra has also witnessed a growth of 77%, selling 1,469 units in March 2023. The annual sale of 10,036 units accounts for a growth of 56%.
Exports & 3-Wheeler Sales
Mahindra has exported 2,115 units of its vehicles in March 2023, while 5,697 vehicles of 3-wheelers were sold.
Veejay Nakra, the President of the Automotive Division at Mahindra & Mahindra, has attributed the company’s success to an impressive 50% growth in the auto sector on a yearly basis. He expressed delight at recording the highest-ever sales in almost all segments of the business.
