Hyundai asserts its dominance in the Premium Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) market, maintaining the top position in sales for three continuous years and projecting a market share exceeding 50% throughout 2023.

In a market where premium SUVs are distinctly segmented, the Palisade captures significant attention. Indonesian consumers are increasingly considering SUVs as ideal family vehicles due to their spacious cabins, ample trunks, and robust performance on diverse road terrains.

Hyundai Indonesia’s official statement, backed by data from Gaikindo, highlights the Palisade’s consistent sales growth over the past three years. Surpassing the Premium SUV (SUV E-F) market segment, the Palisade has secured its position as the preferred choice among consumers.

The New Palisade: Redefining Luxury and Comfort

Receiving widespread acclaim since its debut in 2022, the New Palisade continues to make waves in the market. Sales data from January to September 2023 reveals an impressive market share of over 50% in the Premium SUV segment.

PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) recently unveiled the refreshed New Palisade, featuring revamped interiors and exteriors. Priced between IDR 875.5 million and IDR 1.15 billion, the Palisade stands out with its Parametric Shield and DRL, contributing to its sophisticated appearance.

Setting itself apart with 18 and 20-inch rims, the Palisade boasts a more spacious and luxurious cabin compared to competitors like the Mitsubishi Pajero or Toyota Fortuner. Notable features include Ventilated and Heated Seats, complemented by a generous 12.3-inch TFT Color Touch Display Audio and a premium 12-speaker sound system.

Performance and Innovation: Under the Palisade’s Hood

Powering the New Palisade is a robust R. 2.2 L CRDI inline 4-cylinder diesel engine with e-VGT, seamlessly integrated with an 8-speed automatic transmission system. Generating 200 PS/3,800 rpm of maximum power and 440 Nm/1,750–2,750 rpm of maximum torque, the Palisade ensures a dynamic driving experience.
