Ferrari, the renowned luxury car brand, has a different stance on autonomous cars compared to other leading car manufacturers such as Tesla.

Ferrari CEO, Benedetto Vigna, has made it clear that the technology does not play a significant role in the brand’s vision at this point.

In response to whether Ferrari, known for their luxury electric cars, would need autonomous vehicles, Vigna explained that the company’s priority is the performance, comfort, and infotainment software. He then stated that the autonomy software is of the least importance to the brand, as reported by Carscoops.

Ferrari, one of the world’s biggest luxury car manufacturers, has a different vision compared to other leading car brands.

Unlike Ford and Tesla, who are racing to produce autonomous cars, Ferrari’s priority is to maintain the soul of the car, its identity and tradition, by keeping the majority of their existing production.

Previously, Vigna made it clear that the company will not venture into producing autonomous vehicles after launching Ferrari’s EV strategy. Instead, the brand is committed to providing customers with high-performance electric vehicles that embody the Ferrari’s identity.
